Richard Tinkham Obituary
Indianapolis - 86, died October 13, 2018. He was born June 24th, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana to Richard and Marion McAleer Tinkham. Richard is survived by his wife Wynn Stenz Tinkham, children Ann Tinkham, Amy Tinkham, Calle Tinkham, Andy Tinkham, Adam Tinkham, Elizabeth Urbanski, and Patrick Shirmeyer and 9 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Dick will be held Friday October 19, 2018 at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. The calling will be from 1:00pm - 2:00pm with the funeral directly following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Beggars for the Poor. I was saddened to read about Dick's passing today. I was so blessed to know him and learn from him. He was one of the smartest and most creative individuals I ever met. You could almost see the wheels turning when he was meeting with a client, or in the middle of a negotiation. He taught me to love writing. He also passed on to me his love of working with businesses. He so loved his family and were so proud of each of his children and their distinct talents. He and Wynn were great partners and you could easily see their love for each other. Moreover, they were always seeking opportunities to help those less fortunate, which was so special.
