Rita Croll Brady, a retired cashier for D.H. Holmes Department Store, died on Sunday, August 22, 2004 of kidney failure. Age 83. Wife of the late Harold Joseph Patterson by first marriage and Rodney McClannon Brady by second marriage. Mother of Melanie Brady Radosti, Sandra Patterson Couch and Richard Allen Patterson. Mother-in-law of Timothy P. Radosti, Arthur Couch and the late Linda Frances Patterson. Daughter of the late Arthur W. Croll and Lena Ferrera Croll. Sister of Clara Croll Foster and the late Paul Joseph Croll and Wallace Croll, Jr. Also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Ms. Brady graduated from Redemptorist High School and was a member of the Oakdale Golden Agers Club. She was a former resident of the Irish Channel in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of the Florita Apartments in Terrytown, LA for the past 12 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until funeral time. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Please sign the online guestbook at www.legacy.com.

Nicola and I will never forget the time we spent with Grandma soon after we were married during Mardi Gras. It was funny to see her chasing after trinkets thrown from the floats - she really enjoyed the parades. We will all miss you.
