Bob definitely was a treasure to know. He was our neighbor who was always pleasant with his happy wave. Bob would call me over and I would listen to his many stories and memories. Bob was best friends with our other neighbor, Bertha, over the years and the two of them made a lovely pair. Bob would always ask about my husband, Bill, if he hadn´t seen him for awhile. And Bill would always give time to Bob too. We certainly do miss see him coming and going. And we knew things were good with him when he had his front door open. Now it is closed.
