Dr. Chabreck was my graduate professor for my M.S. degree from LSU. I am grateful to him for giving me a chance. I owe much of where I am today to him. He was a great man! They won't make another one like him. Dave, Sarah and I offer our condolences to you and Michelle and the rest of the family. We will never forget him.

My condolences to the Family, Bob was my friend and mentor. He was a leader in wetlands management. He inspired me in my career and was an excellent teacher. He will live on through the work of his many students in the wetland and wildlife management field.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Chabreck family upon the passage of this fine man. I greatly admired Dr. Chabreck 's work on coastal wetlands and wildlife. He produced an impressive body of work on those topics, and played a huge role in educating many graduate students on wetlands ecology and management. I consulted him many times during my career with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. I hired several of his former graduate students, based on his recommendations. I greatly admired Dr. Chabreck and will remember him fondly.

My condolences to the family. Dr. Chabreck was my graduate advisor for my M.S. degree from LSU, 1971-1973. He took a chance on me, as my undergrad grades were not very good. I went on to a career in wildlife ecology and management, and he was an important influence on me and my views of management problems. I owe him a great deal and will always remember him.
