Robert Orender

ORENDER Robert Orender, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. Bob was born in Norton, VA on November 4, 1931; he was the son to the late David and Bessie Orender. Bob served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. During this time is when he started writing letters to his soon to be wife, Christine and in June of 1956 they were married. He is survived by his loving wife who just celebrated 55 years of marriage, Christine; devoted daughters, Delores (Sandeep Vijayakar) Orender and Belinda (Earnest) Boyd; grandsons, Brandon and Jordan Boyd; sister, Ruth Stallard of Columbus, Ohio; and many family and friends. Bob enjoyed working on cars and going to car shows. He was always fixing things around the house and was a hardworking man. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229; where funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
