Robert Parrish Obituary
Robert "Bobby" Houston Parrish, 85, a resident of Greensboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. He was born August 15, 1937 in Greensboro, the son of Troy Lee Parrish, Sr. and Rilla Edwards Parrish.
Robert worked as a printer for 38 years with the Greensboro News and Record.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Thomas "Tommy" Parrish, Michael Parrish and Ronnie Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Orrell Parrish of the home; one daughter, Roberta L. "Robin" Parrish of Greensboro; one sister, Brenda Parrish Chester of Greensboro; one brother, Troy Lee Parrish, II and his wife Judy of Randleman and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Parrish will lie in repose at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for those that that may wish to come by and pay their respects and sign his memorial book.
Private family interment will be held at Guilford Memorial Park.
