ROBERT PFUNDSTEIN Obituary

ROBERT K. PFUNDSTEIN, 75, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late Robert and Beryl Pfund stein. Robert worked as a Hearing Aid Specialist with Hearcare Audiology and several other local businesses in Fort Wayne. He was a member of First Assembly of God, a volunteer with the outreach program for Hearcare and Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. He enjoyed singing and ministering at local nursing homes for over 20 years. Robert attended Turnstone and was active with Fort4Fitness. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Bernice Pfundstein of Fort Wayne; daughter, Karen (Jem) Mel of Fort Wayne; grandson, Elijah Robert Mel; and his sister, Nancy (David) Blakeslee of Georgetown, Texas. Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God. I can only share memories here. This is a hard journey I know your on. This servant and son of the Most High God will be missed. It was my great pleasure and honor to have had the opportunity to have Bob and his great family as a very important part of my life's journey. He will be missed but not forgotten. Memories of singing at nursing homes, choir, studies in their home and just being blessed with friendship will always be mine to cherish. I love you guys and your on my heart and in my thoughts and prayers.
