To Eric, Steve and Tommy, I read of your father's passing in the Bergen Record. I used to babysit for you guys when you were real little living on 2nd Street in Park Ridge. My mom still lives on the street and I often pass by your house and wonder how you "boys" are doing. I am so sorry for your loss, I remember your Dad as such a nice man. Karen (Mattson) Galeazzi

I am sad to hear of Bob's passing. My prayers go out to his family. I met Bob back when I worked for Arthur Parks upholstery in Park Ridge NJ. back in 84. Bob saved my butt when as a newbie to the trade, I took a chunk of wood out of a museum quality antique while stripping off the old fabric for reupholstering. Arty was furious with me. He called Bob and when Bob brought it back a few days later it looked like that piece had never been ripped out. That's when I realized what a talent Bob had. I envied that talent. I will always remember Bob for his smile. He always had a smile on his face when he came to Arties. I know Bob had three sons and I would like them to know I had been praying for your dad's salvation since Roy told me that Bob was sick. You are all now in my prayers. The world has lost a great talent and a wonderful man.

I was so sorry to hear this. My sister and I got the pleasure of getting to know Bob through our sister's restaurant. He didn't visit Jackie's restaurant often but when he did he was such a joy. Sending prayers to your family.

I met Bob more than 40 years ago. We dealt with each other through his refinishing business many times from then on. He was always talented, not only with his skill at refinishing but as an artist as well. Whenever I visited his home I would ask to see his paintings.
Bob loved to laugh and he used to enjoy playing his trumpet. We spent an evening out listening to Bob play at a local restaurant many years ago. I met his girlfriend who he loved very much.
Bob became part of my life and always will be part of my life. I will always remember him, especially on October 26th, our shared birthdate. He was a great guy.
