.Dear Sue,Becky and Katie,

I want to wish our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family at this most difficult time. Bobby was a great guy. He was my brothers best friend. They were together til the very end. Forever friends. I felt like he was a big brother to me as well. He was such a great friend to my brother and to all who knew him. They go way back to those early fire department days. Life certainly isn't fair and we have to wonder at times why??? We certainly have to believe in our faith at times like this instead of questioning it. I have to believe that Bobby is in a better place. No more pain and suffering. He had enough of that in the last few months. He fought a courageous battle and he celebrated his life right to the end. He never lost his wit about him. He left such a wonderful loving wife and children and of course his little Skylar. Bobby will live forever in our hearts and will not be forgotten. I hope that soon your sorrow will be replaced with all the wonderful memories you shared with him and you find comfort. Even with all this saddness I had to chuckle while attending the wake. A few of the pictures I saw of Bobby on display it showed him giving the #1 sign. That's right Bobby you were #1. That was classic Bob. We will miss you dearly. Rest in peace and we will see you on the hill. Sue, if you or the girls ever need anything please don't hesitate to call. Your family and friends are here for all of you. I'm sure Bobby was very proud of you and the girls. You all have such incredible strength. I went to comfort you and I was the one that was comforted from all of you. God Bless you and your wonderful family.

Dear Sue and Family:

I am so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I apologize, but I had no idea of the physical and emotional strain you were all attempting to cope with. I remember your thoughtful hospitality when we moved into the neighborhood. I also remember the time I thought there was a burgler in my basement. I was returning to work from lunch when I heard boxes falling in my basement. Frightened, I ran out the door. Bob was outside and without any hesitation, he came over to investigate---only to find a squirrel in my basement. He will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Fondly,

To the family and friends of Mr. Skrzypiec:

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. I only learned of his passing the other day - Judy Kostreva informed my mother of Mr. Skrzypiec's long battle with cancer. I grew up at 10 Fox Run, a few houses down from Mr. Skrzypiec. I knew him as a kind man, the neighborhood firefighter. He will be greatly missed in the neighborhood as well as in the community. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob was a very good friend of mine, too; someone I have known for over 30 years. I will greatly miss his friendship and laughter. He had a great sense of humor! He was generous with his time and talents, always willing to lend a hand when I needed it, and I thank him for that. His entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I love you all and am here for you if you need anything! Love, Kris
