Bob's second anniversary reminder indeed made me smile. :-)
One vivid memory I have was at the cottage on Clark Lake . I was in a row boat with Bert, David, Bob and I. I was just out of 1st grade. Believe it or not we were testing each other's spelling proficiency. The words that stumped us all were 1) arithmetic and 2) elevator. They stumped all four of us. I was so disappointed the next fall in 2nd grade when the school had those two words in our spelling lesson. If only they were in my lesson the year before , I could have shown those three 4th graded how to spell :-)

Suzy and family,
I was so sad to hear about Bob. I thought he was an amazing man. I have known him my entire life and remember him well when us kids were so young. The fun times you and Bob would have with Chris, Mike and my mom and dad. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.I believe him and my dad are having cocktail hour and watching over their loved ones. Our guardian angels. Sending hugs from FL. Come visit us soon. XO

My deepest sympathies to the Strickroot family. I fondly recall working (and growing up) alongside Bob and his brother Bert during what is now referred to as "the golden era of the car business"! Bob was a good guy and a hard working effective manager. May God Bless him.
