Roger Lewis Obituary

Roger “Butch” Lewis, 75 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday July 4, 2025 at home. Butch was born May 16, 1950 in Garrison, Kentucky to the late Theodore and Edna (Stander) Lewis. He was married May 17, 2003 to Colleen Lewis who survives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Grace Lawhun; brothers, Teddy, George, and Donald Lewis; and infant great granddaughter.

Butch is survived by his wife, Colleen Lewis; children, Ronald Lee Lewis, Chad (Amy) Lewis, Sherry (Lowell) Laser, all of Bucyrus; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Ed (Kim McFarland) of Bucyrus; sisters Rose Mary Butler, Charlotte (Roger) Cooper of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Betty (Robert) Sherman of Bucyrus.

Butch was a retired tree trimmer and lived most of his life in Bucyrus.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Garrison Kentucky at the Waring Cemetery. Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
