Ronald MARSTON Obituary

Age 88 Passed away on April 6, 2023. Preceded in death by wife, Rita; mother, Lena; sister, Donna; brother, William. Mort will be deeply missed by his children, Michael (Ann) Marston and Melissa (Paul) McLagan; grandchildren, Peyton, Jenna and Manny; sisters, Betty and Joann "Dolly". Mort was born in St. Paul and grew up on West 7th Street. He was a graduate of Monroe High School where he was a standout three sports athlete. He signed with the St. Louis Cardinals baseball organization. He later served in the Army during the Korean War. After serving in the Army, Mort worked for St. Paul Fire Department and retired after 30 years of service. Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 12 from 5pm to 9pm at DeGidio's, 425 7th St. W., St. Paul. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West 7th St. Boys Club, 377 Schletty Lane, West St. Paul, MN 55118. WULFF 651-776-1555 www.wulfffuneralhome.com
