Roy Massey Obituary
In addition to his dad, Roy was also preceded in death by his grandparents Louie and Dottie Massey and Jim and Barbara Blackwelder.
Surviving are his loving mother Ann Massey, son Chandler Massey of Charlotte, and daughter Mallory Massey of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by his one brother and best friend, Michael Massey (Shannon), nieces and nephews, Hannah, Hailey, Hayden and Halen of Gastonia, NC; and by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
Roy graduated from Olympic High School where he was a varsity football player. Roy worked for many years for Teph-seal in Charlotte, and most recently for Ferguson in Charlotte.
A funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Steele Creek Church of Charlotte, 1925 Arrowood Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Immediately following the service there will be a reception held in the Lobby area for family and guests. Burial will be private at Crown Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steele Creek Church of Charlotte.
Arrangements are being handled by McEwen Pineville Chapel.
