Dearest Carol and family:
I, too, was one of the many fellow physicians who worked with you and Roy. As a young physician I met both of you via Dr Dunn in Venezuela. Since that time I have taken many trips, acting as a mentor to others. I am presently an attending at the Family Practice Residency Program in Montgomery, AL. After working with both of you I learned the importance of mentoring those younger in the medical field. Carol, you will not realize all those you have touched until you reach heaven. Roy just beat you. My family will be praying for you.

Dearest Carol and family~
I am just one of numerous, no doubt, healthcare workers that had the privilege & divine appointment to join a mission with Dr Roy.I believe it was to South America, one of my earliest missions. God uses His special survants to model Christ's likeness of loving service to younger Christian workers. Roy was such a mentor to me.
God's peace, strength, & love to you & your family at this time.

Dear Renfro Family: You have my deepest sympathy for the lost of your
husband, father, grandfather. While I was principal of Stokes School from 1973-78, I had the pleasure of having several of the children. A wonderful family. Carole was PTA President. She was one of the best. May God bless you throughout the days to come. I will remember the family in my prayers. In Christian love, Ronnie Webb

Dear Renfro family,

It was indeed my privilege in 2009 to witness Dr. Renfro's loving medical and surgical care to the needy people of Nalerigu, Ghana. His five yearly trips to the Baptist hospital there were immeasurably beneficial to the people and the Mission's message of Christ's love. He is an inspiration and challenge to all Christian physicians, and will be greatly missed.
