My sincere condolences to Ruth´s family.As her hairdresser for over forty years when I didn´t receive that usual call for her usual three month perm appointment I was.concerned as she was like clock work on her hair.My customers are like family and I will so miss our wonderful conversations.God bless dear Ruth.

I remember Ruth fondly for our many shared years at Camp Pembroke . Ruth was a guiding light first when I was a camper and later as a counselor. May her memory be a blessing .

I was fortunate to have been assigned to Mrs. Gershman´s class at the Holland School for my required student teaching assignment from Boston State in 1977. Ironically we met again a few years ago while she was visiting someone at the rehabilitation facility where I work as a receptionist. We had a wonderful conversation and I was able to have someone take our picture. She was a marvelous teacher who shred her experience with me. I´m very grateful for all those happy memories. Thoughts and prayers to all of you during this difficult time. Kathleen Shea
