Ruth Krain Obituary

RUTH KRAIN
11/1/1933 - 2/13/2017
Ruth was born in Iron Mtn, Michigan and moved to Riverside, CA in 1953. She attended UCR for 1 1/2 years. She was employed by Kelly Services for 25 years. She was married to Robert Krain, MD for 40 years. She had a passion for animals, especially dogs, an appreciation for interior decorating and enjoyed her beautiful home. She is survived by nieces and nephews in Wisconsin. Ruth loved to travel. Her favorite places were France, Switzerland and Israel. Unfortunately, she was involved in a serious car accident in her 20s on her way to work and prevented her from raising a family but she was a wonderful aunt. During the last decade Ruth acquired dementia and required a structured environment in a wonderful setting at Sunrise at Canyon Crest. She was a beautiful woman and had an infectious laugh. Fond memories of our life will keep me going until it's my time.
A brief graveside service will be held at Olivewood Cemetery at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 22 followed by a Celebration of Life at Dr. Krain's residence, 2144 Westminster Drive, Riverside, CA 92506.
