Ruth Ann Ross, 87, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on January 28, at Ridgecrest Village. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated at The Runge Mortuary.

Ruth was born on December 7, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa. She was raised by her father, Bert, and mother, Enola Sturm. She graduated from Davenport High class of 1956. She was united in marriage to Richard Ross in 1958 and had two sons. Ruth spent 27 years at St. Luke's Hospital where she started in medical records.

Ruth loved spending time with her grandkids, watching old movies, and even traveled to Paris and Hawaii. She enjoyed dining and shows with her special friend, Bob Chilla.

She is survived by her two sons, Ted (Christine) Ross, Tom (Marge) Ross; grandchildren, Andy Nystrom, Jennifer Plate, and Erik Ross; five great-grandchildren; and good friends, Dewi Yuhr and Bob Chilla.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert Sturm, Kathryn Mohr, and Enola Sturm; and brothers, Butch and Ronald.
