Lincoln, California - Sam Silvas, lifetime resident of Lincoln, CA, Korean War veteran, longtime supervisor at Gladding McBean, former fire chief and avid outdoorsman, has passed away. He was 87. He is survived by his wife of almost 62 year, Adell Silvas (Sorensen), daughter Tracy Silvas, son Sam Silvas, Jr. (Tamra Horton), granddaughters Elizabeth Murphy, Hadley Silvas, and great granddaughters Brittny McClusky and Tessa Silvas. A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
