Sandra Ruth Babson COLUMBIA - A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation that will be held from 1:00-1:45 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverend Canon Charles M. Davis, Jr. officiating. Sandra Ruth Babson died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Sandra was born in Columbia, South Carolina on December 23, 1962, the daughter of the late Ogden S. and Margaret Stephens Babson. She graduated from Hammond Academy in 1980 and Winthrop University in 1984. As a loving and positive person, Sandra was a caregiver to her Dad who predeceased her in 2011. Survivors include her brother, Mr. and Mrs. John A. (Elizabeth Haile) Babson; nephew, John Allen Babson and niece, Brooks Babson.
