Servando Barrera Obituary
His true passion in life was being surrounded by family. On his days off he would spend time in his garage woodworking. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh that will be missed. Servando is survived by his loving wife Gloria, daughter Gloria Atalie Solis and her husband Joel, sons David and Luis Barrera, his mother, Armida Barrera, and granddaughter, Emalynn Marie Solis. Servando was one of 16 children, his brothers Mamberto, Jr., Victor, Mauricio, Cruz, Ricardo, Raul, Sergio, Hector, Roberto, Alfredo, Jose, and Alejandro, sisters Armida Lujan and Gilberta Barrera. He is preceded in death by his father, Mamberto Barrera and sister Evangelina Barrera.
Visitation for Servando will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Cashner Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Garden Park Cemetery.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Servando. I worked with him for years. He was a friend when I needed one; a safe port in a storm! Always a smile and a handshake, regardless of what was happening. My condolences to his wonderful family of whom he was so proud! Rest in peace, brother.
