Dear Billy,
I just learned of Shirley's death and wanted to express my sympathy to you and the children. My parents were Jim (Tot) and Ruth Russell. Some of my earliest and fondest memories were of Shirley, Hazel and Mrs. McGee. I was a flower girl at your wedding and Ellen was a Jr. bridesmaid. I pray God's blessing on you and all your family in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Russell Pethel

Billy, Eric, April & Blake, your mother was a sweet lady. I enjoyed working for her for quite a few years. She always spoke lovingly of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would show me pictures which she had received of the grands and great grands.Even when she couldn't see them herself, she wanted me to see those pictures. I know that she loved all of you very dearly. She will be missed.

Though words, however kind,
cannot ease the loss you bear,
May it bring a share of comfort
to know that others care.
Thinking of you with sympathy.
