Resident of San Jose
Steven M. Boring passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born in San Jose, CA to James and Anabel Boring and lived in San Jose his entire life. He attended Abraham Lincoln High School and went on the obtain his A.A. degree at San Jose City College, his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University and was working on his Masters Degree in Meteorology. He spent the last 22 years working for the College of Science at San Jose State University in IT. Steve was very active in his church (Calvary United Methodist Church) and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved traveling, camping, hiking, photography, leather working, basket making, needle arts, building model airplanes, jewelry design and creation, computers, music, and nature. His generous nature, compassion, warm smile, infectious laugh and bear hugs will be missed by his family and friends. His dedication and love to his family, friends and church is his legacy to all who knew and loved him. Steven is survived by his father James Boring, his sisters Sharon Jones (John) and Linda Boring; his nephew Christopher Jones (Emily); his niece Stephanie Jones (Tom); and his great niece Alexis Jones.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 729 Morse Street, San Jose.

I remember Steven as a very kind person. I remember him while visiting his older sisters who I knew at Lincoln high school. I am so very sorry for your families loss.
