Steven James Close

Steven James Close, age 60, of St. Clair Shores, MI, passed away on Friday, June 18th, 2021. He graduated from Mott High School in 1979. He worked at Cadillac Products for 36 years. He enjoyed working in his garage with his music loud to finish any projects that he had to make his house a home. He loved spending time with his children, reading to his granddaughter and joking around with family and friends. Steven is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vanessa and their children Shannon (Doug) Sweetwood and Erik Close; parents Thomas and Jean Close of Warren, MI; brothers Jeffrey (Chris) Close of Sterling Heights, MI; Richard (Beth) Close of Quaker Hill, CT; sister Lisa Close of Warren, MI; a granddaughter, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation to celebrate Steve's life will be held June 27th, 2021 at the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI from 10 am to 1 pm with a blessing service at 1:00 pm.
