Steven Ernest Ramsey, age 59, of Corryton, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was retired from Kelsan after 25 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Julia Ramsey. Survived by loving wife and best friend of 41 years, Sue Ramsey; sister, Kay Ramsey (Jason Gordon); brother, Roger Ramsey; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6 - 7 pm with the memorial service to follow with Rev. Hank Long officiating at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com.

Sue, I am so sorry to here about Steve. He was a great friend and a good man. I am shocked. I have tried to contact you and him a few times in the past few years but could not get in contact. I even made a couple trips to Borf road but without success. You and the family are in my prayers. If I can do anything for you please let me know.

My sincere condolences go to Steve's family. I didn't know Steve real well but was a fellow graduating classmate from Gibbs High class of 1975. So sorry to learn of his passing.

Kay, Roger, Sue, So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing, Memories of babysitting him when you all were on Mitchell St. You all are like family to me loved your Mom and Dad, many fond memories. Praying for Sue, Kay, Roger and all your family to have peace in knowing the comfort of God's Love. So sorry Sue, Kay, and family for the loss of such a special person like Steve. Steve was one of my closest and dearest life long friends. There is comfort that he is no longer in pain or suffering, but he will be greatly missed by Gary and I. I love you Sue!
