Sue Chow Obituary
Cary
Sue Oi-Yee Chow, age 49, of Livingstone Drive, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Hong Kong, she was the daughter of the late Po Keung Yee and Chu Wong Yee. She spent most of her childhood in Colombia, South America, before immigrating to the United States to finish high school and attend NC State University. After obtaining degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, she worked at Smith Breeden Associates (now Amundi Pioneer) for 25 years. She was dedicated to her family, church (Raleigh Chinese Christian Church), and job.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Mo-Yuen Chow; son, Samuel Chow; daughters, Hannah and Grace Chow; brothers, Kam Kan Yee (Ka-Lei Chan) and Kam Fu Yee (Ada Ng).
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary (200 Southeast Maynard Road).
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Raleigh Chinese Christian Church.
