SUE ELLEN (JOHNSON) EDWARDS, 57, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, April 29, 2007. She was born on Aug. 19, 1949, in Erie, Pa. She attended South Side High School and Hillsdale College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. She was a gifted artist and an avid reader. In addition, she enjoyed arranging silk flowers, as well as working in the garden. She truly loved all animals, but most of all her special dogs and kitties that she raised throughout her life. She is survived by her very special friend, Terry Frick of Albion; his pets, T.J. and Mercury; parents, Robert (Red) and Mary Ellen Johnson of Fort Wayne; sister, Ann (David) Bobilya of Fort Wayne; brother, Michael (Karen) Johnson of Wisconsin; and six nieces and nephews. Private family service will be held on Saturday. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Memorials to Allen County S.P.C.A.

I knew Sue in high school. On Saturday September 15th, I attended the 40th reunion of South Side High School. It was there that I learned of her passing. I am deeply saddened. May God bless her.
