Susan Nuttall Obituary

Susan M. (Desjadon) Nuttall, 71 of Keene NH, formerly of the Greater Lowell Area, passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2022, following a 3-year battle with cancer, with her loved ones by her side.

Susan was born on January 22nd, 1951, in Lowell MA, the daughter of the late Armand Desjadon and Rita Desjadon. Susan Graduated from the Immaculate Conception School Lowell in 1965, and later Graduated from the Lowell Trade High School with the class of 1969 as a cosmetologist. In 1968 at the Lowell Trade School outing at Canobie Lake Park in NH, Susan met John Nuttall who was also a Student at Lowell Trade enrolled to become a licensed electrician, from there they became soulmates and lifelong partners.

In May 1970 John and Susan were married. Besides being a devoted wife, mother, and friend, Sue loved many things in life. She loved cooking (her favorite), baking, tending to her beautiful garden, fishing, crafting, and family gatherings. She loved animals. She was an avid reader, loving Stephen King novels most, and had read all of them. She loved music from the 60's 70's and 80's. She enjoyed trips to the casinos to play slots. She had a great sense of humor and an amazing laugh with a strong sense of compassion and a love of life.

Susan worked at several hairdressers in the Lowell area following her education at Lowell Trade School. She later worked at Merrimack Magnetics for several years as a machine operator, later being promoted to supervisor of her department. She later became a teacher's aide for the Lowell Public School system working at the Moody School in Lowell. Susan was enrolled at Training Unlimited for computer software training classes where she took to this well and became an Instructor for the Training Unlimited School for many years. She loved helping people.

Susan will be greatly missed by all, but especially her husband of 52 years, John T. Nuttall, her daughters Lisa M. Nuttall, Laurie A. Thomas and her husband Stephen Thomas, Michelle L. McDermott and her husband John McDermott, her grandchildren Kylie Nuttall, Daelene LaPlante and her significant other Anthony Sampson, and grandson David Cormier Jr. She leaves behind a brother, Armand Desjadon Jr, and sister-in-law Sheila Nuttall and her significant other Edwin Rivera. Several nieces and nephews Jeffrey Jacques, Ryan Jacques, Thomas Rutledge, Elizabeth Rutledge, and Jonathan Rutledge and his significant other Barbara Ferraz. Susan was predeceased by her sister Patricia Desjadon.

In keeping Sue's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral. A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date by her family.

So very sorry hear that Sue past away, we were neighbors of the family. Our back yards abutted, we lived on A St. and you lived on B St. in Lowell. We had fond memories, great conversations. She will be greatly missed. God Bless the Nuttall family, RIP my dear friend.
