I have seen the story of the tragic death of your child on Dateline.
I dont know you and never met your family but this story affected me so much.
The pain, the loss and struggle of this family is unimaginable.
I know there is nothing that will ease or comfort you, but I will always keep you in my prayers and hope that each day may ease the gravity of the hurt .
If there is anything I can do , if you need someone to talk or to write to please, please dont hesitate.

I wasn't fortunate enough to know Tara (personally) but never have I been more saddened, heart-broken or distraught watching Dateline. I'm so deeply sorry for her friends & family. She seemed incredibly genuine (perhaps like a long-lost younger sister I would've loved to have...) wish I could've had a conversation with her while she was here... (appeared we had a lot in common.) Cannot think of someone who deserved that outcome less. She will forever be in my thoughts & prayers... just feels as though we need more young people like her in the world. & when people like her pass this young it makes believing "everything happens for a reason" or things like "God has a plan" difficult to accept. Always will feel spiritually connected to her...

My sweet Tara, we are now days past our first Holiday without you on earth. Your loved ones miss you so much, I know you know that but we now have to go through the next few days which will bring up a year without you in our lives. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was just looking in the internet and found your story there. We lost our son too in the same way and he too was an avid reader, scored high on his Sat's and had plans on attending college this fall. He too loved british shows like Sherlock and Dr. Who. I'm still reeling over our loss and he was 4th child out of our six. We miss him terribly and I'm sure you are too with your daughter. She sounded like a great vibrant young woman. What is going on now will not bring you back to us, Tara. But if we can stop this from happening to another child we must follow through..we are all still struggling with how hard it is to go on without you . We miss you and will love you forever.

My heart breaks for all of us who miss this beautiful young woman, but it is us who suffer, she is with God and her other loved ones singing and dancing in heaven. Uncle Don is probably teaching her how to lindy with "Rock Around the Clock' RIP Sweet Angel and watch over us, till we meet again.

I do not know your family, but I heard about your daughter and sister, I'm so sorry, please know I'm here for your family as my daughter Ally who was 13 also from Woodbury passed again Sept. 17 as a mom I know what your pain is and know I can help as many people have helped myself and my family. My other daughter is 12 so she also knows Caitlins pain losing a sister. There are support groups, so please let me know if you want to talk. The pain is undescribable so I feel horrible that your family has to go through what we went through and I wish I could say it will be easy but know us grieving parents in our group will be there to help.

Chloe and Tara enjoyed many memories since Kindergarten. From music to inside jokes, Chloe and Tara remained close. Tara was another daughter to me. We shared so many things, a love of music, shoes, food,not too much excersizing,sunshine, reading and baking together....we spent more time chatting than baking, usually. I can't imagine this world without her.
We will carry on, slowly wading through this grief and see her when our time is done.
