TERESA M. WALSH-GEARTY

WALSH-GEARTY, Teresa M. (Paquin) Age 97, of Plymouth, formerly of Norwood, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in Sheldon, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Florence (Gilbert) and Ambrose Paquin. Teresa attended Highgate Schools, the University of Vermont, and later moved to Massachusetts. She was a member of the Catholic Women's Club at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Norwood, and attended Eucharistic Adoration regularly. Teresa was head of the circulation department for many years at the Norwood Morrill Library. She enjoyed quilting and playing golf. Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Frank L. Walsh Norwood P.D. and the late Robert F. Gearty. She was the devoted mother of Frank L. Walsh, Jr. and his wife Jaclyn, Carolyn and her husband John Szafranski, Dianne and her husband James Hoar, and Donna and her husband Michael McCann. She was the sister of the late Burton Paquin and his wife Celia, the late Hilda and her husband Maynard LaBombard, Gladys and her husband Harold Cormier, Ambrose Paquin, Jr., Phyllis and her husband Gordon Jarvis, Chester Paquin, Alton Paquin, Joyce and her husband Ronald Bishop, Clinton Paquin and his surviving wife Pauline, John Paquin, and Francis and Elizabeth Herod. She was the proud grandmother of Marilyn and Laura Walsh, Jason Szafranski, Leah and her husband Swift Corwin, Megan and her husband Jake Yost, Katie and her husband Joseph Wywra, Colleen and her husband Anthony Vozella, and the late Kristen and her surviving husband Bryan Polizzotto; and great-grandmother of Patrick, Cayden, Livia, Vivian, Logan, Abigail, Dylan, and Blake; and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Services from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, on Saturday, August 17, at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Norwood, at 10 AM.
