Kansas City, Missouri - Timothy John Margrave "Chili Dog", age 72, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021.
A visitation for Tim will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112 with funeral service starting at 12:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Tim was born February 8, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a Marine and served in the Vietnam War, a member of the National Guard, served 25 years with the KCK Fire Department and 24 years overseeing security with the Argosy Casino. Tim loved fishing and being a member of the Abdallah Shriners.
He was preceded in death by parents Iola & Robert Margrave, loving wife Virginia Sadler-Margrave and son-in-law Christopher Myers.
Tim is survived by brothers Dennis Margrave (Esther), Scott Margrave (Cindy), sisters Kathy West (Don) and Cindy Pottier (Richard). His children Darryl Margrave, Timothy "Kyle" Jenkins, Benjamin Margrave (Carissa), Brandy Dillon (Forest) and Dana Myers, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Abdallah Shrine Temple of Overland Park, KS.
