Tomas Mesa

85, of Deer Park, Texas, entered into eternal life on January 25, 2016. He was born on November 12, 1930 to Vicente Baza Mesa and Antonia White Cruz in Agana, Guam. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 22 years. Tomas was stationed in San Antonio, Texas, where he met his wife of 60 years Arminda Rivera. He retired from the City of Pasadena after 20 years. Tomas was an active member of San Juan Diego Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus Council 3700. Above all, Tomas adored his wife and family, was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. Tomas is survived by his wife, Arminda Mesa, daughter, Marie Morales (Alberto Morales) son, Tomas C. Mesa Jr., son, Jose Mesa (Sylvia Mesa), son, Francisco Mesa, daughter Zita Moreno (Albert Moreno). Grandchildren Alberto U. Morales Jr., Jillian Chanaba, Erica Gil, Naomi Mayhill, Stephanie Mesa, Tomas Mesa III, Megan Mesa, Marianne Mesa, Bruno Mesa, Rachel Mesa, Frankie Mesa, Zachary Moreno, Roxanne Moreno, Dominic Moreno and Isaac Moreno. Great-grandchildren Andrew Chanaba, Sophia Chanaba, Lauryn Gil, Jude Gil, Noah Alegria, sister, Rita Borja and many other loving family members. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Grand View Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M., with a rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
