Tricia Heath Obituary

Tricia Nell Heath Tricia Nell Heath went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2013. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 23, 1953 to the late Vernis Worden and Nelda Worden who resides in Georgetown, Texas. She leaves behind one sister Wanda Roberts of Amarillo, Texas. She is survived by the love of her life, Michael D. Heath Sr., whom she married over twenty five years ago. She also leaves behind her sons, Chad Boudreaux and wife Kristi of Yorktown, Virginia, Michael D. Heath Jr. of Round Rock, Texas and David Heath of Round Rock, Texas; and grandchildren, Blake, Lauren, Henry, and Hudson Boudreaux of Yorktown, Virginia. Tricia's passion to succeed began with sports involvement in High School with State Championships in Basketball and Track. She took this drive into health care by becoming a Registered Nurse in 1979. After several years in Med-Surgery she transitioned into Skilled Long Term Care. She served in Nursing Management and was then promoted into Administration becoming a Licensed Long Term Care Administrator. She achieved the highest recognitions in her field by her management, Joint Commission of Health Care Accreditation, the Texas Health Care Association and the American Health Care Association. Many facilities in Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia have been touched by her quality systems management style. Our "Trish" was the family cornerstone. All of us have been blessed by her patient support and humbling spirit. She loved her family with a deep passion, and we were blessed by her faith in the Lord that drove her righteousness. We praise our Lord for this quiet servant who made us so much better in our purpose for this life we live. Family visitation will be Sunday, January 6, from 3pm to 5 pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be Monday, January 7, beginning at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.cookwaldendavisfuneralhome.com

I am SO sorry to hear of Tricia's passing. She was one of the best bosses I ever had, and was so compassionate. I worked with her at Hearthstone of Round Rock. She was truly someone who made a difference, not only because it was her 'job', but she was such an amazingly kind person. R.I.P. Tricia. And my prayers go out to her family. I'm so thankful for the memories (Old San Francisco Steak House), and time I had to become a better nurse because of Tricia. <3

Michael and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Trish was one of my first mentors and I continue to rely on her words of wisdom. She is one of the reasons I stayed in nursing all these years. We started out at Hearthstone and did what many thought was impossible. Her tenacity, dedication, leadership, and spirit- may it live on in all who were fortunate to know her.
Wishing you peace,
Beth

I have had great difficulty accepting that Trish is now gone & in heaven...what an amazing & beautiful person she was and to lose you so soon, is heartbreaking. She was such a sweet spirit that couldn't help but fix, nuture & go the extra mile. She had so many wonderful qualities along with being a great daughter, wife & mother. She had a smile that could brighten up the darkest day & a laugh that was contagious. A compassionate, patient, fair, Christ-like woman that touched so many lives. She had to be blessed from God or maybe an angel sent from above. I am so blessed to have had her be part of my life. She taught me so much. I will never forget her. She will be missed more than words can describe by so many people.

Sometimes, the Lord just takes blessed people because they've filled their purpose early. Everyone plays their own song. They sing their story to the world and leave behind a melody of memories. Sometimes... their song is cut short and ends too early. But that doesn't mean their music was any less sweet or that they left any less of an impression. Trisha - You were the most caring and compassionate nurse above and beyond. May your heart and soul soar for eternity. Michael and family - You are all in our prayers during this most difficult time. May you all find the strength to heal.

My heart aches when I think about how much I will miss Trish. Over the many years of working with her, she became my friend. Becoming her friend was easy; when she smiled you would see her sincerity, her passion and her kindness, I would often end my day, going by to see Trish; I always knew I was welcome. One of my memories, were the gentle words she gave me when my mom died. Michael, I wish I could express the warmth that Trish gave me. To you and your family I hope the memories of this wonderful women will soften your hurt.
