VIOLET GEISLER Obituary

DES PLAINES - Violet May Geisler (nee Soukup), born July 27, 1933 in Fayette County, PA, during her working career she was a nurse at Lutheran General Hospital and later she practiced nursing at some of the local assisted living residences. She passed away in Des Plaines on July 2, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Mark (Luisa) and Joseph Geisler; proud grandmother of Aaron and John Geisler; fond sister of Martha. Friends and family will gather on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, for a Celebration of Life visitation. My sincerest condolences to your family. I worked with Violet many yars ago at Lee Manor in Des Plaines. She was a very inspiring friend and coworker. She often spoke of your family and more recently of her travels. She will be missed.
