Of West Falls, NY. Beloved Husband of Joanne E. (nee Marx). Dear Father of David (Denise), Suzanne (Paul) Snook, Walter E. Jr. (Connie), William (Paula), Daniel (the late Bonnie) and Lisa (Daniel) Raimonde. Brother of the late Richard (Loma) and late Lawrence (Jan) Lutz. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dad proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954. Family will receive friends on Monday 4-7 PM at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main Street, East Aurora, NY where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM followed by interment in Griffins Mills Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials to the West Falls Fire Department, Colden Fire Department or the East Aurora American Legion Post in memory of Walter would be appreciated. The Family extends deep appreciation to the staff at Orchard Heights, Autumn View Health Care Facility, East Aurora Family Practices for the wonderful care provided to Dad prior to his passing. Dear Joanne and family. We were very sorry to read about the passing of Walter. We were next door neighbors back in 1964-1968, and have nice memories of you and your family. Although we live in Australia, half a world away, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
