Wayne Potvin Obituary
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tiesha Potvin DiMaggio and Thomas DiMaggio of Waterford. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Wayne Potvin (Sept. 13, 1971 - Jan. 15, 1987). He leaves his siblings: his brother Sherman Potvin and wife Ellie, his sister Joyce Bordo and partner Richard Colburn, his sister Sandra Duocolon and his sister Jeanette (Potvin) Murphy and husband James; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at the Church and Allen Funeral Home, Montville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Uncasville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christopher Potvin Scholarship Fund, 94 Driscoll Drive, Uncasville, Ct. 06382. My sincere condolences to the Potvin family. Coach Potvin was truly one of the best. I loved playing ball for him in Norwich and Montville. Such great memories of him. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Coach!
