Hi Gilbreath family,
My name is Christina, my father is Dean Wall, so Wes would´ve been my great uncle. While I worked in Houston, he visited me and called me every so often. He was always a light and I always appreciated him calling.
I have 4 children now and we began a lineage project for school. I would love to purchase his book and learn more about this side of the family. If anyone sees this message, please email me.
Blessings,
Christina Wall Sonnenberg

Your funny yet witty sense of humor will dearly be missed... You truly have taught me and so many others the meaning of passion & determination. You created your own business from the ground up "SignAD", wrote & published your own book, fought during the Korean war, served as CEO & Chairman for KSBJ (Now the leading Christian radio station heard all over the world), Started your own scholarship for high school students in need, Mingled with the best of the Politicians, including Ronald Reagan, and so much more.... You have blessed so many with kind and unselfish acts. I will never forget my surprise birthday party.
Please continue to watch over us as you truly were an angel.
We love and miss you "Pops"

Lisa Gilbreath Horan and Gilbreath siblings,
On behalf of the Borkovich family... namely Theresa, Bobby, and Jeff; I wish to express our deepest sympathy as you experience life now without Wes,Sr. We know you will miss him greatly. I remember him taking the time to attend the service of Robert Borkovich,Sr. a few years ago. Old friendships from when you guys were children/neighbors were obviously important to Wes,Sr. He made sure to express this to us, even though his own health was challenged at that time. We are thinking about you and praying you will sense God holding you especially close to Himself during this time.
Sincerely,
Lori, Robert Jr., Theresa, and Jeff

Wes was never short of ideas or opinions. I always liked that about him.He always had stories to tell and they were always interesting or funny. He told me about the baseball team he was on and only one guy had a glove or going to school as a kid and most didnt have shoes. He was a cotton picker,an athlete, served his country, originator, innovator, businessman, politician and he probably could have been a preacher too! I never saw a man with so many credentials.
One verse he liked came from Psalm 127 -Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. He told me this on several occasions.
He used to say "Take care podna"
He was a good man and his presence will be greatly missed at SignAd

Pat,and family,
I am devastated to learn of Wes's passing. He was a great guy and best friend to my brother Tiny in high school. He was a good man and we know that he is in the arms of Jesus. What a nice thought.

Sorry for your loss...Wes as we called him during our high school days at Gatesville in 1946/47. I rememered he had to sleep at the fire station since he couldn't make the school bus departure for home at 4 PM; he was practicing football with the rest of us. God loved him and allowed him to be very successful in business; he was a good man.

Wes was a fine man and a friend. I worked on the A/C at the business and at his home for 15 years. I found him to be friendly, fair and honest plus he was quick to have a joke to tell me.
Wes was a good man and I will miss him. May God bless all of his family in this time of sorrow.

Wes was a good and fair man and I liked him a lot. I worked for him on the AC at the building and at his home for 15 years. He was always kind to me and often had a joke. I found him to be very honest and non pretentious. I will miss him.

To the entire Gibreath Family,
My heart goes out to you after the passing of Mr. Gilbreath. What a blessing this man is in so many lives. He touched many. He touched mine. I have some very fond memories of Mr. Gilbreath from Gatesville to the Little League fields in Freeway Manor. May God help you all find peace in your heart, knowing Wes Gilbreath Sr. is in heaven. Let me share something with you that was shared with me. We say we "lost" someone when they pass. The definition of lost is not knowing where it is. Now we know Wes was a Christian and all Christians go to Heaven. Since they all go to Heaven then we didn't lose Wes at all. He is not lost. We know exactly where he is, in Heaven. Thank you for all the great memories!

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
What a wonderful father, husband and uncle and such a blessing to so many. Rest in peace, Uncle Wes...and tell my Daddy I love him. Love, Kimberley (Sheppard) Butler and family.
