William BECKER Obituary

of Lake Worth Florida died on December 17, 2012 in Sparta Tenn. Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Becker was born in Vauxhall, NJ to Bertha Becker, and Herman Julius Becker on March 25, 1921. Mr. Becker served in the US Army in Europe during WWII as a male nurse, and after returning home became a Certified Dental Technician working in Bird and Lutz dental laboratory, that he later went on to own. Mr. Becker a devoted Christian acted as Song Leader for over 35 years in both the Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Irvington N.J. and Bethel Assembly of God in Lake Worth Fl. Mr. Becker was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Frances E. Becker, brothers Robert, Charles, and sister Henrietta. Mr. Becker leaves behind a son William R. Becker, and wife Donna of N. Plainfield, NJ, and daughter Nancy Becker Marsh, and husband Alan of Sparta, Tenn. Mr. Becker also leaves behind four grandchildren, Christopher Marsh, and Cindy of Jupiter, Fl. , Heather Marsh Throne, and husband Thomas of Newton, NJ, William R Becker Jr. and wife Paula of Ft. Lee, NJ, and Jennifer Becker Cerullo, and husband Frank of Glen Gardner, NJ. Mr. Becker also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren Kaitlin, and Andrew Marsh, William R. Becker III, Emily, and Sarah Cerullo, Carson, Ryan, Charlie, and Taylor Throne. Mr. Becker also had fond memories of his three nephews Robert, Charles, and Donald Becker. An avid fisherman Bill was a familiar sight at the end of the Lake Worth Pier with family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday February 1st from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM followed by a memorial service for Bill immediately following visitation at 5:00 PM , Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Rd. Lake Worth, FL 33461. Bill will be interred in Lake Worth next to his beloved wife Frances. There will be no graveside services. In lieu of flowers please make any donations in Bill?s memory to Bethel Assembly of God 4320 South Congress Ave. Lake Worth, FL. 33461
