Dear grandpa. I can officially say that I am going into sixth grade this year, and I hope you help me do well this year. Especially with theology class, as I know that is the class you would want me to do best in. You loved god and were a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. I love and will miss you, especially after all you´ve lived through. I miss your stories and your voice. I know that you have found new strength to walk, dance, and speak in heaven. And I hope you are having the best time there with god and Jesus. And may there be plenty weekend masses up there for your soul to attend. I´ll forever miss you. Your granddaughter, Charlotte

Grandpa,
I can´t express how much I love you and how regretful I am that I couldn´t get a chance to say goodbye the last time you saw me was Christmas and that was the last time i got to hear you talk or see you happy and cheerful and it breaks my heart everyday to know that I´ll never get to see that until our Heavenly Father calls me to Heaven to be reunited with you and the rest of my lived ones that left before me. This year im applying for high school if you can even believe that! Im going to be Class of 2030 and i hope that you will help me through my five years at Chapelle. Im going to be trying out for Rummel cheerleading and I hope that you also help me make it onto the team. I saw your house on the website and when i saw it without all if your clutter and furniture and decor it just didn´t feel like your house it was weird looking at it without its character. And I´ll admit I did cry while looking at it because it didn´t feel or look like the house that I partially grew up in. I remember when i was little i always thought that your stories were boring but now that i´m older and you´re not here I would give anything to hear them again. The day of your funeral I went on a faith retreat with my school and on my way back home i was talking to dad about it and how i was sad that i can´t tell you about it because I know that even though it was only a day and a half I know we could´ve talked about it for hours. You passed away 15 days after my birthday and it might be one of the worst birthday months i ever had. Anyway I could go on for hours but i won´t
Love you lots, Lily

Daddy,
My heart is simply broken because you are no longer physically here with us.
You were the most easy-going, patient and thankful man to care for in your final months, and it was a joy spending time with you!
Thank you for everything you did for Mom, your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, we will never stop loving you and will have many fond, fun memories to share for generations to come!
I love you Daddy with all my heart; you were the bravest man I've ever known.
Love,
Jannie

Please accept our deepest sympathies over the passing of Bill. We loved him dearly, and will miss him greatly.
Bill meant a lot to us, both because of his warm, giving nature and because of his great sense of humor. Bill was always there to graciously listen and lend his wisdom when asked. His guidance and advice has helped many who would listen. He was a role model and mentor - but never took life to seriously. There was always a bright side to any situation, and he could make you feel better with a just a joke or a warm pat on the back. We are all grateful for his love and will carry good memories forward...
With love & respect,
Keith & Susanne
