I was not aware of this but Pop was proud of me, Joyner and Aidan. Now that I have thought back about that I remember him saying how proud he was to have us as grandchildren. But now I realize how proud he was and I wish he were here to see me now, not for me but for him.

To the family: I have just learned of Bill's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. May God wrap His loving arms around each of you and give you comfort, strength and peace during this difficult time. I have known Bill forever. We enjoyed working together with the Cub Scouts when our children were members of the Scouts and he also sold a house for me. Most importantly, we were friends. Lila, thank you for the great job you did teaching my children in school and for being my friend. May God bless and keep each of you.

Davis and Family- we are very sorry for your loss but also celebrate with you as your Dad now journeys with our Father God. Davis, I have seen your faith grow these last several weeks as you have been a "good and faithful" servant to your earthly father. I know he cherished your every act of love. May your loving memories be a comfort to you and all who knew Mr. Sugg. ... Pam Gray and Elton Quidley

As a son in law it was easy and natural to call Bill Sugg "Pop". I always felt a close connection with him as a strong and loving man. He sets a great example for all to follow and will be missed.

Mrs. Sugg, You may remember me. I used to work in opu at the hospital and was one of the crazy girls that gave Mr Sugg chemo and enjoyed your chocolate chip cookies. We all thought so much of you and your husband and enjoyed seeing pictures as the triplets grew.My husband passed away very suddenly in 2004 and I transferred to the Surgery Center after that. I understand the loss that you feel and if there is anything I can do for you just call me at the Surgery Center. Love, Carla Whitehurst
