Michael Brindley Obituary
Graveside services for Michael A. Brindley, 59, of Concord Township, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.)
Mr. Brindley passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at his residence in Concord Township.
He was born Oct. 4, 1952, in Painesville.
Mike was a 1970 graduate of Willoughby South High School and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1973. He enjoyed music and art, was a very talented artist and was very involved with carpentry.
Mr. Brindley was formerly an employee of W.J. Cianfaglione Home Builders and The George F. Ross Construction Company.
He was the loving father of Dustin A. Brindley of Tennessee; grandfather of Lane, Autumn and Makenzie; cherished brother of Daniel C. (Cheryl) Brindley of Willoughby, Kathleen D. (Ken) Schmitt of Willoughby, James N.(Doreen) Brindley of Willoughby and Denise M. (Dale) Fross of Willoughby; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason M. Brindley; parents, Chester and Arlene R. (Hoffman) Brindley; grandparents, Chester and Williamina (Jackman) Brindley and Fred and Ruth (Mack) Hoffman.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.

I am so sorry for letting the time go by without seeing Mike before he passed, I will never forget the great times Mike and I had in our younger days, and then again with our wives and kids for many more years. Rest in peace Mike.

My Mother and Mike's Dad, Chet and Uncle John all worked together at the Ohio Rubber Co. We attended functions together and grew up in Willoughby He on Murray Avenue we on Clark Court. Have not seen him since High School but it still pains to hear of friends passing. Life is precious and much too short, too bad we did not realize that at a young age and take better care of ourselves. RIP Mike, my best to your family.
