Pierson - Crystal Lynn Thorn, 64 passed away May 17, 2021 at her residence in Pierson. She was born on June 17, 1956 in DeLand and was a homemaker. Crystal was a former Pierson Rodeo Queen and Miss Florida Farm Bureau. She enjoyed doing crafts. She was predeceased by son Jarod, daughter Tiffany, brother Chuck and sister Cathy. She is survived by her husband of 47 1/2 years, Teddy; mother Ruth Barfield; son Trace Thorn and brother Todd Barfield. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at 11am at First Baptist Church of Pierson, with the family receiving friends from 10-11am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pierson United Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.allensummerhill.com. Allen-Summerhill DeLand is in charge of arrangements.
