Peter Gallucci

GALLUCCI- Mr. Peter Joseph of Kernersville, NC passed away to The Lord, November 13, 2015. He was born July 22, 1961 in South Ozone Park, Queens, New York, to the late Gerard and Genevieve "Jean" Gallucci. Peter enjoyed all the special times growing up with his loving family, going from delivering newspapers, and proud of his route to attending catholic school, and his employment history, from Grumman, Eagle Electric, Leviton and T&B. He attended Weber College of Utah, and earned a scholarship from Grumman to receive his master's from CW Post. Peter was always proud he had over 70 design patents under his name and was well respected in his field as a Product Manager. Peter married Theresa Maurio, September 19, 1992. They had 23 wonderful, loving, and fun years together. Even though they were always on the go with work, Peter and Theresa grew a bond of love that was so true and deep. They enjoyed so many years going to their timeshare in Aruba, relaxing and embraced all the beauty and peace it had to offer. Peter was very dedicated to the gentlemen of the Grumman Golf League, and still kept track of their golf scores! Peter loved life. He loved the simplicity of it. He was always willing to offer advice, listen and to show that he really cared about all who were in his life. Peter was Theresa's Love and her Best Friend. Peter loved to cook and no one could get in his way while in the kitchen. Peter was very creative, loving and caring. I will always love you, Peter. Peace to you, Honey. As the tide rolls onto the shore and back to the ocean, you will forever be my ocean of love, Theresa. He was preceded in death by his sister, Madeline Von Der Linn. In addition to his wife, Theresa, he is survived by two brothers, Gerard and wife Doreen, John Gallucci, three brothers-in-law, John Von Der Linn, Louis and Joseph Maurio, and sister-in-law, June Maurio-Lowe, and husband Joe Lowe, four nieces, six nephews, and his loving cat, Domino. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kerners-ville Chapel with Rev. Mr. Tim Ritchey officiating.
