Marian Petti Obituary
Marian Petti, 94, of Andover Township, died on Wednesday, October 8, at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center in Andover.
Petti was born on June 7, 1920 in Bristol, Ct. to the late Eugenia (Kostecka) and Walter Pruchnicki. She married Louis J. Petti, Sr. in1940 and together they raised their family in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Oak Ridge.
Petti was a homemaker and was also employed for 6 years as a seamstress at Morley's Shirt Company in Franklin. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Oak Ridge, NJ. Petti was one of the original members of the Golden Age Club of Milton and held various club positions throughout the years. She also volunteered much of her time to the American Legion in Milton, the Jefferson Arts Committee, and the Democratic Club in Jefferson.
Petti was predeceased by her beloved husband Louis J. Petti, Sr. in 1994, her dear sister Ann Mione, and her dear nephew Vincent Mione. She is survived by her loving son Louis J. Petti, Jr and his wife Kathy of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and her adored daughter Claudia Petti Lupfer and her husband Peter E. of Andover; her cherished grandchildren John Petti, Eileen Petti, and Amy Lupfer, and her dear niece Vivian Smith as well as many extended relatives.
Services were at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home in Newfoundland and a Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Oak Ridge. Following the funeral Mass, Petti was to be interred beside her husband in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at the Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center who took such good care of our mother.
Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Petti's name to: Golden Age Club of Milton, 54 Schoolhouse Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438, or to Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Centers, 1 O'Brien Lane, Bldg 1, Lafayette, NJ 07848-3614.

WE SEND OUR CONDOLENCES AND PRAYERS TO THE PETTI FAMILY. MARIAN WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND WE CHERISH THE TIME SPENT WITH HER AS A RESIDENT AT OUR CARE FACILITY. SHE WOULD ALWAYS COME OUT TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR RELIGIOUS SERVICES AND RECREATION ACTIVITIES. WE WILL MISS HER DEARLY.. PASTOR BOB; CHAPLAIN-ASRC

Marian and I were married to brothers.
I knew her for almost sixty years. Altho our husbands have long passed away we remained friends; our children
have ramained close cousins; and we have shared many happy occasions through the years. I will always remember Marian for her laugh and her ability to overlook the bad things and
appreciate the good things in life.
Even tho we didn't get to see each other often in the later years we kept in touch by phone and always enjoyed our phone conversations. I will miss her and only hope that our children will remain close cousins come what may.
