I am sorry that in both our long careers in the theater, I never met Mr. O'Brien but always was aware of him. You see, My legal name is Vincent J. O'Brien, and I was born in Newark, New Jersey. When I was eligable for my Equity Card, , they informed me that I could not use my name, as your Husband was a member. So I took the name of Vincent Lynne. I did 13 Broadway shows, plus many National and Bus and Truck productions. I was the Production Stage Manager on the road for "Advise and Consent". Strange, we never met. I hope you don't mind my sending this off to you, but you see I do feel as if we knew each other.
Sincerely, Vincent Lynne-O'Brien (as I am now known)
