Frank, though we fell out of touch you were always a part of me. Our friendship goes back quite a ways, and I have often remebered the times we spent growing up together. Eternal peace to you my friend; and my sincerest condolences to your family.

My husband and I had the great pleasure in meeting Frank when I was selling tickets for the Merrillville VFW and he readily bought one and WON! After that we continued our friendship always listening to him boast about his (2) sons that he was very proud of. Please continue to work hard, play hard and pray hard for he will be looking down on you both for were the twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of you two! We were sorry to have missed his special farewell but will forever remember his smiles, hugs, kisses and fun stories. It was a pleasure knowing such a pleasant and caring person that was proud of his family and told us it was because of his own Parents that guided him with good morals and lots of Love!

To the Family of Frank Podkul. I am so sorry for your loss. My Condolences to you all. Frank always took the time to greet me each day at work. We talked about sports and he was excited when my daughter was selected as the Girls Basketball Coach @ BNI. After the games he would have already read the newspaper articles and tell me what a great job the coach and team did. My prayers are with the family.

Throughout the baseball season, your positive attitude picked me up when I was down. It gave me the strength to move forward. You influenced my life Coach. Today, I too have a positive attitude. But instead of using it to get through the baseball season, I now use it to get through life. Thank you.

Dear Donna and all of Frank's family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Frank's death. It seems like yesterday we were kids attending BNI. I will always remember Frank for his sense of humor. He was friendly to everyone - it didn't matter where you were from or who you "hung" around with. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We lost a good person and a good friend. I was fortunate to attend BNI's 40th reunion last October and have penty of time to get caught up with Frank. He seemed content, optimistic and proud of his baseball playing sons. Sad for this sudden and early loss. Encourage his sons to keep playing hard. Frank would have.
