SCHNEIDER--Alice C., 68, of Rockland Township, PA, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, September 24, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was the loving and devoted wife of Allan H. Steinfeld. Alice first worked as a buyer for J.C. Penney Department Stores, in New York; but found a passion for computers and data as she forged a career at the fledgling organization New York Road Runners, organizers of the New York City Marathon. She was with them for over 26 years as the Information Technology Director. Alice retired in 2004. A celebration to honor Alice's life will be held Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 12:30pm at The Restaurant at Golden Oaks, 10 Stonehedge Drive, Fleetwood. The family requests contributions be made in Alice's memory to One-By-One Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 272 Temple, PA, 19560 or American Cancer Society.
