Family-Placed Funeral Notice

ROBERT G. FREESE Age 76 of Tequesta, Florida formerly of Dix Hills, NY passed away on May 17, 2006. He was a graduate from Manhattan College and earned his MBA from NYU and attended Fordham Law school. Mr. Freese served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired as Sr. Vice Chairman/CFO from Grumman after 30 years in 1991. He was also a retired board member of the Bank of New York and Roslyn Savings Bank. He was a member of the Hobe Sound Country Club and served on the Board of Governors for 5 years. He is survived by his loving wife and childhood sweetheart of 54 years, Joan Freese, three children; Bernadette (Peter) Pavlis, Maryellen (Steven) Podlovits, and John (Ronda), brother, Paul (Linda) Freese, seven grandchildren; Michelle, Matthew, Briana, Kristen, Kayla, Morgan and Robert Alec. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11am, Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta, FL. In lieu of expressions of sympathy, the family has suggested donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County (Gerstenberg Center) 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in Memory of Robert G. Freese. Sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Freese.I was Mr. Freese driver,when he came in for a Roslyn Savings bank board meeting.I would pick him up at The airport and take him back at the end of the day.
