Rodney LANDSMAN Obituary
Jupiter Florida, formally of Farmington Hills, MI. Passed away Feb. 23, 2016. Beloved Husband of nearly 61 years to Dr. Sandra G Landsman, loving father of Victoria Peterson, Jonathan and Lisa Landsman, Faith Landsman and Teri Mehrman, and Jill Landsman. Loving Brother of Rubyjean and Richard Gould. Cherished Grandfather of Aaron and Sarah Landsman and Michael Peterson; and uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. National Jewish Chaplain and Life member of the United States Power Squadrons; District 8 and Palm Beach Power Squadrons. He was past Palm Beach Power Squadron Chaplain as well as Treasurer. He was an avid world traveler; internationally recognized artist, studied at Cranbrook Institute of Arts, Chicago Institute of Arts and Wayne State University. Rod was a lifelong educator and orchid enthusiast. Those who had the privilege knew he was a gentle, kind, caring and thoughtful man.

The Landsman are a very special part of my life. I can only hope that this passing was of his choice and will, I can't imagine him having it any other way. The dynamics in your family gave me a strength and path in life, you were always my "safe harbor". My love and a big hug to all of you.
