I did not realize that Howard had died. He was one of my roomates at UCR. He did the technical and lighting for a production of the Fantastiks in Lake Arrowhead and I was the piano player and music director. He became a minister in the Universal Life Church and as such he legally married me and my first wife. I visited him and Cathy in the mid 1980s when I was a post-doc and studying for my licensing exam and I hired his daughter to do flashcards for me to memorize some of the items for the licensing exam. He was a really really good person. I am very sad to hear about his loss.

Dear Lowe family, I am sorry to read about your loss. I did not know Mr. Lowe, but I am hoping to bring you a measure of comfort by means of this message. May you take refuge in the God who heals the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. -Isaiah 57:15
