RALPH J., suddenly on March 16, 2016, of Upper Darby, PA. Beloved son of the late Ralph M. and Lena (nee DeMucy) Leptin; loving brother of Alice Leptin; also survived by his cousins, many friends and co-workers at CADES. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Wednesday 10 A.M. Church of St. Laurence, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 and to his Visitation after 9:15 A.M. in the Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions to Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Ave., Phila., PA 19143.

I was a long time friend of Ralph whom I knew from Cardington Field athletics. He was a fast half back during our Sunday football games. He was an outspoken champion of justice with admirable courage. The Cardington gang miss you, Ralph.

Ralph Leptin had a special gift that he shared with all of us at CADES, although I am sure he was unaware of it. He was kind, caring, brilliant, funny, and just an honest to God "good guy". Students, staff and parents will miss him dearly. He was a gift to us all and we are so fortunate to have had him as part of our CADES family. We will all miss our friend Ralph and will always remember him with love in our hearts.

My boyhood memories of summer playground fun at Cardington Stonehurst will always include Ralph and his family. Softball and endless pinochle games with Ralph and his Dad filled our summer days with joy and laughter. Rest in Peace my friend. I will miss you. Shocked and Saddened to hear of Ralph''s passing, but I celebrate his life and Homegoing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A man who truly showed himself friendly.
